Microsoft has been a company which has been a very smart player in the world of technology. Over the years the company has become a ‘giant’ in the markets when it comes to the world of software technology. They have now been improving their situations in the hardware markets too, and while their Windows Phone devices and the Windows 10 Mobile OS continue to be looked down upon by the people, it is now expected that Microsoft is all set to introduce ‘the next big thing’ which would help improve their perceptions in the markets – the Surface Phone!
Microsoft’s Surface Phone has been one of the most talked about devices of the recent times, and has been expected to be a major player in the markets upon its release. Microsoft, with the arrival of the Surface Phone is expected to change many things, as the device is expected to be one of the most powerful phones ever released.
The Surface Phone is classified as a ‘business class’ device by the company, and it has been expected to tap into the niche of the premium, business users – a strategy which Blackberry had perfected in the past.
Microsoft, in the past, had managed to come out with some of the biggest updates when they released the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL phones, and they are expected to come out with an even bigger release with the arrival of the Surface Phone.
The Surface Phone has been anticipated to release in three variants – 4GB RAM with 32 GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128 GB Storage, and 8GB RAM with 500GB Storage. It has been expected that the 6GB and the 8GB RAM models will be coming out with a physical button on the device, ‘Start’ Button. Pressing the button would open the menu, while holding it for a bit would launch Cortana as per early rumors.
The surface phone is expected to come out into the markets by October of this year, when the company also releases the Surface Pro 5 and the Surface Book 2 devices.
