Motorola’s latest smartphone in the Moto series, the Moto G5 is all set to release in the next few weeks. Motorola is expected to take stage at the MWC 2017 event, and it is there that this smartphone, as well as a ‘plus’ variant will be released. Over the past few weeks there have been a number of leaks that have showcased the specs of the phone. Today, yet another leak has been spotted that showcases a metallic body that allegedly belongs to this upcoming Moto G5 Plus smartphone.
This image, as seen above, is from the rear panel of the smartphone. This leaked image of the Moto G5 Plus surfaced on China’s Weibo, home for many such leaks. It shows a metallic and circular design in the back for the camera, something that we have seen in various other high-end Moto phones in the past. This does look rather interesting, and will give this entry level smartphone a more premium feel. Motorola continues to improve the Moto G series year after year. Design looks like one of their primary agendas this year.
Motorola made a major comeback in the smartphone markets thanks to the Moto E, Moto G and Moto X smartphones. Over the years, Moto Z and Moto M too, were added to the series. Motorola’s gen-next Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones are all set to feature more powerful specs than that of the Moto G4 last year.
Based on popular leakster Roland Quandt’s tweet, the pricing for Moto G5 too, has come to light. It was stated that Motorola’s upcoming smartphone would be priced in at a lesser rate than even the Moto G4! This is something which is rather odd. Quandt suggests that Motorola might drop the price down to as low as $179 and $199 for the 2GB RAM and 3GB RAM variants respectively.
