In the modern day world of technology, where there are cameras on every device, it is near impossible for companies to maintain secrets as leaks have now become part and parcel of the modern day world. These leaks can sometimes divulge secret informations but on many occasions, they actually act as an agent of promotion and adding pre-release hype. Over the last few days, pictures have emerged of what is alleged to be the iPhone SE box. These photos showcase many specs that had been rumoured in the past.
If what we see in this leaked image is actually the iPhone SE box, it confirms some major speculations. The device was heavily rumoured to release under various names, and it has finally been confirmed that the next iPhone will actually be named the iPhone SE. There was earlier a lot of confusion over this branding and it was expected to come out as anything from iPhone 6c to 7c to 5e.
The alleged iPhone SE box also showcases the fact that the iPhone SE will indeed be coming out into the markets with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage space. The box also states the presence of an A9 processor in the iPhone SE. The 16GB space is also a major relief as the previous such model, the iPhone 5c was launched with just 8GB of storage space.
Along with the device, earpods as well as lightning port to USB converter are also bundled inside the box. This puts an end to the speculation of whether the device is releasing or not with a 3.5mm port.
The iPhone SE is expected to launch on the 21st of March along with the iPad Air 2 (iPad Pro Mini) and more band variants of the Apple Watch. More details to follow soon.
