iPhone 7 Plus Catches Fire, Explodes; Apple Responds

Feb 24, 2017 By

While many smartphones have, over the years caught fire and blown up, this became a major issue in 2016 with the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 causing major panic across numerous countries. However, while it looked like things are slowing down, and people are forgetting these explosions, news suddenly broke that an iPhone 7 plus caught fire and exploded. This is the first such incident to have come to light. The iPhone belonged to Brianna Olives, who bought it from a Sprint store earlier this year.

Brianna says that she was sleeping with the phone charging near her head. Her boyfriend picked up the phone and kept it near dresser, and was heading to the restroom when he noticed that the phone is steaming. He heard a strange noise, and immediately threw it into the restroom. The phone caught fire when it was thrown into the restroom, and Brianna’s boyfriend recorded it with his phone. The video of the exploding iPhone 7 Plus was put up on Twitter where it has since got over 25,000 retweets and likes. It has been covered by numerous tech outlets as well as mainstream media.

Apple was quick to respond and said that they are looking into the matter. The company replaced the iPhone, and gave Brianna a brand new iPhone 7 Plus. It is also worth noting that Brianna was facing issues with the phone in the past. She said that the phone was not turning on, and so she took it to Sprint for service. The Apple employee who worked on it too, commented stating the phone looked weird when it was turned on, but it is impossible to predict that it would explode.

The diagnostic tools of Sprint indicated that the phone was fine. It was a rather unfortunate incident, and we are now awaiting Apple’s official response on what went wrong with this phone. The company is currently performing various tests on the device. Following the Samsung scandals, smartphone 7companies are being extremely careful about fire hazards.

Sluggish iPhone Sales Force Apple To Reduce iPhone Production By 10%:

Jan 2, 2017 By

A shocking truth has gripped the world’s premium tech company; Apple has been forced to cut down on iPhone production even further.

Image result for iPhone 7

The sales graph for the iPhone first started dipping back in the year 2015, when even by the year end, there was still a long line of iPhone 6S phones waiting in Apple’s warehouses and stores to be sold off. Despite good marketing moves, the phone seemed to move really slowly in the market, further causing sales figures to plummet. The Cupertino giant resorted to desperate ways to keep itself afloat; the production had to be cut down by 20%.

However, this strong move by Apple has had little effect on the phone’s reception and movement through the market. The iPhone 7 shows signs for slow sales, further causing Apple to come to a major conclusion – to cut the production of the Phone further by 10%, which would affect the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 plus. The premium phone manufacturer has not relented to this sales crunch and has not declared any price cuts to get the stock to move.

The reasons for this fall in sales that have been assessed by experts range from failure to meet phone demand due to lack of steady supply of camera sensors, to the inability of the company to rouse the interest of people with the new phones that they make. Users have often come up with the monotony of design and features.

Experts are of the view that the demand of the iPhone 7 in Japan might remain steady because of the high availability of places to make contactless payments. The iPhone 7, being well compatible with the contactless IC chip readers that are available in the country provide a lucrative sales ground. Despite this, the companies in Japan that make components for the Phones and also its contemporaries in Asia are going to face a crunch with the falling demand for the phone.

Paving the way for the future – iPhone 7 reflects Apple’s future Plans in the phone segment:

Sep 18, 2016 By

The launch of the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 plus was quite a big event. People  had been waiting for this and now that this phone is finally here, not much enthusiasm is evident amongst people. We do not intend to say that the iPhone 7 will not sell, the device does show a lot of promise but very few people have bothered to understand how small gestures of change in the iPhone 7 can prove to be Mirrors of the future of an iPhone.

Also mostly similar to the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6s range, the iPhone7 poses a few major changes that have drawn a lot of positive reaction. The removal of the 3.5 mm headphone jack was a commendable feat. Furthermore, Apple is trying to embark upon the concept of Airpods which will be wireless earphones that can compliment your iPhone perfectly.

The Apple products have always had the reputation of being instrumental to pave the way for the future technology to move in. For example, the passbook application that was developed 4 years ago, has proved to be the basis of a complete security system, the Apple pay , is not the only future. other aspects like the apples voice assistant that is Siri was conceptualized a long time back but it took a long time for able to provide this technology into the phones.

IPhone has also been judged by its processor. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s have  Processor that are white powerful. But the iPhone7 has brought with us technology that is even better than the iPhone 6s.

The iOS 10 on the iPhone7 just makes things better. New features and and brand new options with Siri are also quite intriguing.

The idea of having a phone like the iPhone7 has moved a lot of users from Android and Blackberry  operating systems, but it has also worked the other way. We only need to see how the sales work for the iPhone 7, to see how the response is.

Apple Airpods – First Look At The wireless headphones of tomorrow:

Sep 15, 2016 By

Apple Airpods have been a matter of discussion among people interested in technology, ever since Apple mentioned that they were going to do away with the 3.5 mm headphone jack on the iPhone 7. The launch of the iPhone 7 has change the way we look at Technology. Although not much has been changed from the previous versions, there were certain aspects of the phone that really proved that future technology has a lot of promise.

The removal of the 3.5 mm jack has greatly reduced the scope of choosing various headphones to go along with the original iPhone 7. Since it works on the USB type C charging port, we know that not many manufacturers would have made headphones based on this, hence it is almost a mandatory for people to go with apple released headphones. But with the concept of the Apple Airpods this might not be such a farmer table issue. In fact Apple has decided to move with the presence of an adaptor so are the headphones can also be used with the iPhone. The downside of this concept is that you need to pay $40 extra for the third party adaptor. Once you spend this land with your iPhone 7 and your iPhone 7 plus you can use any headset you feel like.

Apple Airpods are far from music headphones. They are integral part of making your experience with Deal Apple devices even better. When you’re on multiple devices you will be able to connect your Apple Airpods with the iPhone and store all other devices by the cloud. It saves you the hassle of having to dial any numbers from your apple watch or from your Mac by shouting out a number.

Lightning Earpods and Airpods may be the beginning of a wireless future, the extent of which we might not even have imagined.

Sep 8, 2016 By

As has become something of a modern ritual for the cult of Apple, a throng of the company’s executives took to the stage in San Francisco enchant and delight us with news of its latest creations. In addition to an updated Apple Watch, today’s main announcement was the upcoming iPhone 7 and 7 Plus: both will be available to order on Friday, September 9th, and begin shipping a week later on September 17th. Here’s what you need to know about them:

While the new iPhones maintain the same basic shape and styling of the 6/6s generations, a number of improvements have been made to the physical design. The new model is water resistant. it also comes in two new finishes, black and jet black. Apple is also ditching its space gray option for a standard matte black model, along with silver, gold, and rose gold. For the first time, the iPhone 7 now has onboard stereo speakers – one at the top and one at bottom of the device. The company says this makes the sound it produces twice as loud, and increased dynamic range means it should sound better as well.

In the new camera, Apple has introduced the f/1.8 aperture, six-element lens, a larger sensor, a flash with four discrete LEDs, and a built-in flicker sensor but the biggest camera improvement is exclusive to the heftier iPhone 7 Plus, which has a dual camera system that, for the first time, allows for 2x optical zoom without any loss of image quality. It also has a new home button which is force sensitive. They have decided to get rid of the headphone jacks. In the performance department it has introduced the company’s latest chip, the A10 Fusion— “40-percent faster processing” and “two thirds the power consumption” graphics performance, according to Apple, when compared to the iPhone 6s. Battery life is improved as well, with Apple claiming the iPhone 7 lasts two hours longer than the iPhone 6S. The iPhone 7 will maintain the same pricing tiers (starting at $649 for the 7 and $769 for the 7 Plus), but with more space: Apple has doubled the storage in each of the models, finally dropping its much-criticized 16GB storage option. The lowest tier is now 32GB, with 128GB and 256GB options above it.
