Rockstar games has risen to the top of the world of gaming and has become an apex predator after the rampaging success that the GTA V has had.
After breaking all records in the world of the consoles, the game will release for the PC on January 27th.
GTA V’s release was planned over three years and the game has been a juggernaut – an unstoppable force that has been introduced to the world of gaming in a three legged plan.
The game released for the PS3 and XBOX 360 in 2013, when it shattered all pre-existing records in the world of gaming and the respective consoles.
The game crossed a billion units in one day and has been the largest selling game of all times. The next release for GTA V was this year, on 18th of November 2014, GTA V released for PS4 and XBOX One.
The game was pretty successful in these two consoles as well and was a record hit – it again broke all records for the new generation of consoles and was appreciated for many because of the efforts the developers took to make this game more innovative and exciting for those who have already played it in an older generation console.
A ‘first person mode’ was introduced for the very first time in the history of the franchise. However, now the studios and the developers of the game are looking forward towards the future of the series – and reportedly there is a tussle between two factions in the developers.
One of them believes that the next game should be GTA 6 while the other faction is in the favour of releasing San Andreas 2.
Reportedly, the top senior management is confused on who to side with in this, and then there is also a third faction, a minority, which demands the Vice City to be re-released in the latest format.
As of the latest reports we have from some internal sources, GTA San Andreas 2 is all set to be released in the year 2017 and will be a successor to the popular San Andreas game.
With December almost here, it is in just two years of time that the game will be releasing, and the developers and coders are all set to get in action from day 1 – i.e. January 1st, 2015.
There will be a small set of team members who would be kept aside to work on the GTA V for PC release and to fix the problems and address the issues of the GTA V game on consoles, and a large majority of the team, including many new comers will be taken along to work on the new game in the GTA franchise.
