We have always seen a trend of seeing Apple iPhones being released around September each year and this year apparently would be no exception.
The Cupertino giant gained a lot of praise when it launched the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6S Plus.
The world however, is now waiting for iPhone 6C, iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S plus, which is also being referred to as the iPhone 7 by some people.
The trend of naming phones with the ‘S’ tag has been around for quite some time now, from 2009 to be precise so our bets are on the phones being grouped with the iPhone 6 range itself.
Whatever, the names might be, it is obvious that the next new phones would not have anything to do with developments in the department of looks since the phones have recently seen a major face lift.
Most of the developments would be internal.
This means that both phones would stick to having the 4.7 and 5.5 inch screens.
Rumors however, point at the possibility of having a new color ‘Rose Color’ being added to the choice of colors.
The build materials would stick to 7000 series aluminum which has the reputation of being 60% lighter than normal aluminum but much stronger.
Under the hood, both phones are expected to be equipped with A9 processor, 2GB of RAM, 12MP primary camera with 4k recording features.
The cameras would have a dual lens system which would enable you to take almost DSLR quality pictures with your phone. It is not clear about what the front camera would be like.
The use of Sapphire glass again remains a controversial issue.
Here again, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has chipped in stating that in case the drop test issues are resolved, the iPhone 6S Plus units would receive the Sapphire Glass, but these too would be quite limited.
Dimension wise, renders of the device have claimed that 0.2mm might be added on to the general thickness of the phones.
iPhone 6s may be 7.1mm thick while the iPhone 6s Plus may be 7.3mm.
This minor difference between the two devices would be negligible.
Certain features like NFC for Apple Pay, 802.11ac Wi-Fi capabilities, and LTE Advanced would continue to be offered by the two new iPhones.
However, there are rumors of a new NFC chip with a built-in secure element being added, so that the space within the device can be saved.
The phones are expected to be sold in memory capacities of 16, 64 and 128 GB.
A new feature that would be added is the Force Touch capacity, which can distinguish between light taps and harder presses on the screen and perform different functions accordingly.
The touch ID would also be better equipped to work better.
These devices are expected to see a launch between 7th to 11th of September, 2015, as per popular rumors.
