Instagram has been one of the hottest properties on the internet. The application which was just another image editing and sharing tool, has now grown to become one of the largest sources of image hosting and sharing on the internet. Facebook had a keen eye and were looking years into the future when they made the acquisition. Instagram has been growing with every passing day, and the company has been bringing in a good business in with it. According to latest reports, Instagram is now testing multiple account support for the users of iOS devices on their app.
This feature was first introduced for the users of Android back in early December. You can read our complete report regarding the same HERE.
As of now the iOS update has not come out for all the users, and a select few users have received this update. This update will allow the users to use multiple accounts on Instagram, and will help them easily switch between accounts without having to log out, something like what Twitter has been offering for a very long time now.
Instagram’s latest update comes to a select few users, and to know if you are one of them, head over to ‘options’, and move down to the bottom of the list. If you are one of those lucky users who have received this update for multiple accounts, you will see a new button on your device, titled ‘Add Account’, which will be located right below ‘Clear Search History’.
This update is of particular use to those who handle business on Instagram. Users will be able to make use of the business updates, as well as manage their personal accounts with quite an ease, without having to log out and log in over and over again.
The update is expected to roll out to all devices in a few weeks.
