The single most dominating name when it comes to the world of internet technology, Google has been a force which has been ‘unstoppable’ for a very long time.
The company has been coming out with several updates for the internet users, and the company has achieved much more than anyone could even dream of in 18 short years.
Google’s dominance can be seen when you realize their contribution to the world in several areas.
After dominating the world of internet the company is now working their way forward towards the hardware markets, slowly but steadily.
Google is all set for their latest event which is going to be held on the 29th of September, and it will feature the major nexus phones and chromecast devices amongst other software upgrades.
The event too, is strategically timed, as it comes just one week before the Microsoft event, where they were expected to show off their latest hardware.
With the timing of this event, Google have caused a major hit to the Microsoft camp.
Let’s take a look at what Google has to offer in the event which they will be holding on the 29th:
Future of the Nexus devices:
Both LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P would be running Google’s latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box for which the handsets will be the platform lead devices.
They will also sport fingerprint sensors and USB Type-C ports, both features that now have native support in the upcoming Android release.
The following news is courtesy NDTV 360: Based on past leaks and rumors, the LG Nexus 5X is said to feature a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display; a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor; 3GB of RAM; Adreno 418 GPU; a 12.3-megapixel sensor; a 5-megapixel front camera, and a 2700mAh battery.
A report from earlier this month claimed the new Nexus 5X will be more expensive than the originalNexus 5.
It is tipped to be launched at $399 (approximately Rs. 26,500) for the 16GB model, while the 32GB will cost $449 (approximately Rs. 32,999).
As for the larger Huawei Nexus 6P, it is tipped to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 MSM8994 SoC. A 5.7-inch QHD display and front-facing speakers are also tipped, apart from a 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera.
Google is also expected to finally launch the next-generation Chromecast dongle at the event as well.
The new dongle as per a recent leak will feature a balloon-like design, and as much rumoured earlier, support for faster dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac.
It is also tipped to bring support for Spotify – a music streaming service notably missing from the list.
