Microsoft Slashes XBOX One Price Before E3 2016 – Now Selling At $299. Is an XBOX Slim Coming?

Jun 1, 2016 By

The E3 event, every year, is among some of the most popular names in the world of gaming technology. Major names in the world of gaming technology come together under one roof and make several announcements for the next year in the world of gaming. Microsoft has been a mainstay at the E3 event every year, and this year too, the company is expected to come out with some major announcements. Just before the E3 event the company has decided to slash the XBOX One prices.

XBOX One

The XBOX One price has now fallen down to $299. A 1TB variant of the XBOX One could now be purchased at as low as $319. However, with the E3 coming up, it is strongly recommended to wait for a little longer if you’re planning to buy a new XBOX, as Microsoft has been reported to come out with a new and improved variant of the XBOX device – the XBOX Slim.

Rumors of the XBOX Slim have been in the markets since a very long time, and they seem to be becoming true now more than ever before.

As per PC World, “Last week, both Kotaku and Polygon suggested that Microsoft may be working on a far more powerful successor to the Xbox One, due in 2017. Known as “Project Scorpio,” the next Xbox (the Xbox Two?) will be roughly four times as powerful as the current console, with about six megaflops of performance, according to Polygon.”

Many interesting things are happening in the markets of technology, and the XBOX One might soon be becoming a ‘previous-generation’ device, as Microsoft deep-dives into the markets of VR technology.

While it is highly unlikely that a new, VR compatible XBOX will be a part of the E3 events, a teaser or a talk about the same might actually happen. However, if at all an XBOX One Slim is ever going to release, it is going to be at the E3 2016.

May 29, 2016 By

This time last year, just a few days before the E3 event, the markets were abuzz with the fact that Bethesda was about to make their first ever appearance at the E3. Much was expected from the company and they did not disappoint, as the Fallout 4 was announced at the E3 2015. We’re almost at the E3 2016 now, and Bethesda has still been making the news, this time over the details regarding the Fallout 4 mods.

Fallout 4 Mods Bethesda

The company has now revealed that the Fallout 4 Mods have to be limited to 2GB. The sizes of these mods vary, and users are free to delete them whenever they want to free up some space. The company also talked about how these mods actually work on the XBOX One, saying that users can find the ‘mods’ option in the menu now, where they will have to link their Bethesda.net accounts. After linking the accounts, the users can browse and install the mods.

Interested users can click HERE to browse the mods right now!

In another update, Bethesda has now confirmed that when users are using the mods on the game, they will not be able to earn any achievements in the game due to first-party considerations. This has come as a sad news, but it was expected to happen by most of the gamers.

While Bethesda has confirmed the news about the XBOX One mods, the news regarding the PS4 mods is that the company has stated, as they had stated before, that the PS4 mods would be coming in the month of June, as promised earlier.

Additionally, Bethesda also stated that in order to play the Fallout 4 Mods which make use of the DLCs, users will need to purchase the actual DLCs before they can play those mods.

Fallout 4 has been one of the most popular games of the last one year, and things are getting even better with the mods coming in.

No Man’s Sky Delayed– To Release in August Now

May 28, 2016 By

One of the most ambitious projects when it comes to the world of gaming in the recent times, No Man’s Sky has been in development since three years now. The game has been said to be the biggest game ever created with a procedurally generated universe, featuring 18 quintillion planets to explore, where each of the planets will have their own ecosystem and wildlife, giving the users an experience like never before. The soundtrack too, has been generated procedurally.

The game is so big that there is a very slight chance of two players ever crossing each other despite playing in the same universe at the same time! There is also a good chance that any planet the people step foot on, will be the first time anyone would have stepped foot on that planet.

No Man’s Sky was earlier expected to release in the June of 2016, but it has now been delayed by another 2 months, as the release date of the game has now been announced to be the 9th of August. No Man’s Sky will be releasing for the PC and the PS4.

The game is being developed by Hello Games. Hello’s Sean Murray said that the delay was because the game had “some key moments [that] needed extra polish to bring them up to our standards.” Hello’s Sean Murray said that the delay was because the game had “some key moments [that] needed extra polish to bring them up to our standards.”

“The universe of No Man’s Sky is incredibly vast,” says Murray. “More than you can imagine. This is a type of game that hasn’t been attempted before, by a smaller team than anyone would expect, under an intense amount of expectation. And despite all of that, development is genuinely going well. This is the hardest working, most talented team I’ve ever worked with, and I’m so proud of what we’re doing. For all our sakes though, we get one shot to make this game and we can’t mess it up.”

The world of gaming technology has been progressing at a really rapid rate over the past several years. There have been many changes which have been made to the way the markets of technology function. One of the most popular names in the world of gaming is that of Minecraft. Ever since Microsoft took over Mojang, the parent company of Minecraft, many changes have been made to the game.Bad News for MineCraft Players – Delay on Minecraft PS4, PS3, and PS Vita Update Expected

The latest update brings mini-games and a deathmatch mode to the game.

Deathmatch Mode

In an official update to the game, it has now been stated that the Deathmatch mode is on its way towards Minecraft:

“Players in Battle matches use randomly generated resources found in chests placed in specially designed PVP maps and combat one another in a free for all death match until the final victor is determined. The fun’s not all over after you are defeated though, as fallen players can spectate the combat among remaining players in the match by freely flying around each arena as a bat.”

There have been many mods in the past which have made it possible, but now we finally have an official update which brings deathmatches to Minecraft!

Mini-Games

Mini-games, which were earlier available only for the PC gamers of Minecraft, are now made open for the gamers of the console devices too. The mini-games feature now allows the users to get right into the game without wasting much time on setting rules and deciding who will act as the score-keeper of the game.

Mojang has announced that they will be releasing this update for all their console gamers in June. Three additional maps, too will be rolled out with this new Minecraft update.

The official blog post reads:

“The first mini game we’ll be rolling out, called Battle, will be here in June. Battle allows you to set up a competitive multiplayer fight for survival, where speed, strategy- and sometimes just pure luck- will make you the winner.  Players in Battle matches use randomly generated resources found in chests placed in specially designed PVP maps and combat one another in a free for all death match until the final victor is determined.”

Red Dead Redemption 2 Likely To Release Soon – Know The Details:

May 22, 2016 By

With less than a month to go for the much awaited E3 event, many popular gaming franchises have suddenly started raising their heads again, reminding the markets that they still exist, and big things are there in store. One of the biggest names that has been rumored to be announced at the E3 event this year is likely to be that of the much awaited game, Red Dead Redemption 2.

RedDeadRedemption

The E3 is going to be held from 12th to the 16th of June, and many major announcements are likely to be made there.

In the month of April, a leaked map, alleged to be of the Red Dead Redemption 2 game was making rounds on the internet. Following that, there was no update, and it is now being highly anticipated that his game will finally be announced at the E3 event this year.

The game has been appreciated by a large number of people from across the community of gamers, and it has particularly been appreciated for its open world, which has been hailed by many to be better than that of the GTA series. The Red Dead Redemption 2 game is all set to take that to the next level.

“Rockstar Games is of course hard at work on some exciting future projects that will be revealed soon,” Take-Two said in the earnings report, via Gamespot. The CEO of Take Two, Strauss Zelnick had earlier commented, stating that the Red Dead Redemption game is a ‘permanent franchise’ as per him. He also commented that Take Two would be present at the E3 event this year.

There is a major chance that we might get to see Red Dead Redemption 2 releasing this year, as Rockstar is typically a company which avoids the E3 event. Their presence does indeed indicate that something big is being planned.

The announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2, if at all it happens, is all set to surprise the gamers this time around.
